SPACE Gallery’s intern program is designed to be a hands-on, flexible learning experience catered to each individual's learning goals. Our communal, cooperative work environment ensures that creative input and expression are encouraged and necessary. Every level of operations at SPACE involves volunteers, and we expect that as an intern, you will identify interest areas for building experience and developing skills. Projects and schedules will vary day by day, but we are committed to providing interns with a meaningful professional learning experience.

No available internships at this time. Please check back soon or send inquiries to our Outreach Coordinator, Martha Schnee:

Volunteers are an integral part of SPACE. Volunteering can take many forms: gallery sitting, staffing the door at events, prepping exhibition spaces, or making pancakes in the park. Volunteering at SPACE is a great way to meet people and engage with your local art community.

Our aim is to make the volunteer experience a win-win-win situation. We want to match volunteers with opportunities that engage their interests. We work with volunteers based on availability and desired time commitment. Some folks volunteer once a week, others volunteer once a year.

FMI about volunteering at SPACE, please get in touch with our Outreach Coordinator, Martha Schnee:

We have an ongoing, generic call for exhibition submissions. Guidelines can be found here.
